Meet Deborah Fung, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Deborah Fung earned her dental degree with honors in 1992 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. In addition to serving as a dental officer in the Minnesota Army National Guard for 12 years, she has also continued her education in many areas of dentistry, including orthodontics, endodontics (root canal therapy), implants, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Additionally, Dr. Fung attained Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. She is dedicated to making sure that her patients are well taken care of, and she practices dentistry with a compassionate heart and a gentle touch.
Tony graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in human resources. At Designing Smiles, he provides excellent customer service and is here to address any scheduling and accounting concerns that you may have. Miranda has over 10 years of experiences providing first-class customer service. She loves working with people and looks forward to helping you make your dental experiences with us great - each and every appointment!
Layne completed the dental assisting program at Lakeland College in 2000 and has continued to gain experience and set new goals for herself ever since. She is currently in dental hygiene school at Hertzing College, working towards her next goal of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. Designing Smiles is fortunate to have Layne's experience, ambition, and energy to benefit our team and patients!
Penny has been a dental assistant for more than 25 years. She loves to meet new people and looks forward to providing you with the most comfortable dental experience that she possibly can. Penny's experience and compassion are valuable assets to Designing Smiles.
Rose graduated from the dental assisting program at Century College, White Bear Lake in 2005. Her professional approach to her work combined with her caring touch allows patients to feel both comfortable and also confident in the treatment they receive. Rose truly enjoys interacting with each and every one of her patients.
Nula is currently attending the University of Minnesota. She is an aspiring dentist herself and hopes to someday provide the kind of exceptional dental care and superb customer service that patients experience at Designing Smiles. For now, Nula is gaining valuable experience and insight into the field of dentistry, and her assistance around our office helps ensure that your visits go smoothly and are comfortable for you.
Jill earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN and has over 10 years of experience keeping teeth and gums healthy. Her professionalism in combination with her compassionate nature make it a pleasure to work with her. Above all, Jill looks forward to making your visits as enjoyable possible.
Do you ever worry about cleanliness in dental offices? We understand your concern and go above and beyond for you, exceeding the American Dental Association (ADA) and OSHA recommended standards for a clean and safe dental practice. We have a dedicated area with state-of-the-art sterilization technology, where every instrument is disinfected and made ready before your visit. We also sanitize each room between patients, and we use a closed water system (rather than everyday tap water). We worry about the cleanliness of our office so you'll never have to!
